Summary:
Responsible and accountable for the following area:
• Sr. Accountant for IK Motors, Inc., Kona Auto Center, Inc., and
Kamaaina Nissan, Inc. (hereinafter called Dealerships).
• Will be responsible to complete the monthly financial reports of the
Dealerships as required by the manufacturer and management.
• Will assist in the preparation of the annual audit and assist with the tax
preparation of the Dealerships in collaboration with the President and
independent CPA.
• Will comply with all governmental compliance issues on accounting, tax
and audit.
• Will maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Report directly to the CFO.
Duties:
• Prepares a complete monthly financial statement for the Dealerships
according to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ensures that all financial reports for the Dealerships will be done
timely and accurately.
• Will interpret the financial reports and daily operating information and
regularly informs the President of developing trends.
• Participates in the preparation of short and long term financial
forecasts for the Dealerships.
• Reviews and assures the Company that the general ledger and
scheduled accounts are reconciled and accurate and report any
discrepancies that may exist.
• Will comply with all applicable governmental accounting or tax
regulations. This to include all payroll taxes handled by ADP,
corporate taxes, excise taxes and income taxes.
• Will work in the coordination of the annual review for I. Kitagawa & Co.,
Ltd. and its affiliates with the CFO and the outside CPA to ensure accurate
and timely completion of year-end financial documentation, annual reports
and tax returns.
• Will participate in physical parts inventory for the Dealerships.
• Will assist in performing audits for the Dealerships as assigned by
the President or CFO.
• Will perform other duties that may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will supervise day to day activity of Accountant.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Five years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Minimum requirement, Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from an
accredited university or college.
