SUMMARY
Responsible and accountable for the following area:
• Jr. Accountant for IK Motors, Inc., Kona Auto Center Inc., and Kamaaina Nissan Inc. (hereinafter call Dealerships)
• Assist the Sr. Accountant in providing monthly financial reports of the Dealerships on a timely basis
• Assist the Sr. Accountant in preparing the annual audit and tax preparation for the Dealerships in collaboration with Auditors
• Comply with all governmental compliance issues on accounting, tax, and audit
• Maintain a high level of professionalism
Duties include but not limited to:
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for the Dealerships
• Assist in the production of timely and accurate financial reports
• Reviews and ensures that the Dealerships general ledger and scheduled accounts are reconciled and accurate and report any discrepancies that may exist
• Complies with all applicable governmental accounting or tax regulations.
• Assists the Sr Accountant, CFO, and outside CPA with the annual review of the Dealerships to ensure accurate and timely completion of the year-end financial documentation, annual reports and tax returns
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Participate in annual physical parts inventory for the Dealerships
• Perform other duties that may be assigned
