Human Resources-Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources-Administrative Assistant performs all activities essential for timely, accurate and efficient operations in the Human Resources department.

Assist Human Resources Manager with data analysis and research related to Human Resources: pay trending, job market, to name a few. Assists with compiling, maintaining, and processing payroll records; perform Human Resources duties that include but not limited to processing of personnel documents, maintaining and updating 401K retirement accounts, and with the safety and compliance program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Compiles and follow up with department managers on payroll data such as hours worked; bonuses, spiffs, and commissions from time card punches and other records.

Controls and maintains each employee’s electronic profile in ADP, Assist managers with employee time clock enrollment, reset with password requests

Updates computer payroll program records by verifying and recording changes; review and follow up discrepancies

Work with ADP to process and receives payroll for all companies in a timely manner.

Reconciles AFLAC bills for payroll deductions and related billings.

Compiles commissions, TECH pay sheets, payroll Registers, Labor Distribution, Statistical Summary and wage garnishments for each company after every payroll for the accountant.

Assist with workers compensation and temporary disability and other leave follow up and tracking.

Perform and process personnel documents that include but not limited to new hire, termination, and benefits
