SUMMARY
Responsible and accountable for the following area:
• Analyst for I Kitagawa & Co. and Affiliates, Parts Center Hawaii, and Others as assigned (hereinafter called the Companies)
• Responsible to provide financial reporting and analysis for the Companies on a timely basis
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions, vendors and affiliates
Duties include but not limited to:
• Create and maintain monthly financial statements and analyses in support of reporting requirements, variance analyses, and forecasting for the Companies
• Ensure that the Companies financial reports will be done timely and accurately
• Compile and interpret KPIs, metrics, and other reporting across the Companies to identify areas of opportunity and improvement
• Create dashboards, trend analyses, and ad hoc reports to support business operations
• Interpret the financial reports and daily operating information
• Maintain an effective cash management system that forecasts the sources and uses of funds
• Review and ensure that the Companies general ledger and scheduled accounts are reconciled and accurate and report any discrepancies that may exist
• Assist the CFO and outside CPA with review of the Companies to ensure accurate and timely completion of the year-end financial documentation, annual reports and tax returns
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support the inventory processes for the Companies with coordination, reporting, and analysis
• Analyze capital expenditures
• Perform other duties that may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or other analytical field from an accredited college or university
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Excel and Quickbooks
• Attention to detail and organization with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
